School visits

Since 2016, the EVZ has been organising the popular school visits in the region again, inspiring around 2000 schoolchildren every year. Together with the main sponsors Sika and Novartis, the "EVZ TSCHEGGT DINI SCHUEL" campaign encourages schools in and around Zug to apply for a school visit and thus bring a hockey crack into the classroom. After the successful application, the school classes receive an EVZ video portrait with impressions from the life of a hockey professional. Based on a typical daily routine, the player provides exciting insights with interesting inputs on topics such as sports, team spirit, balanced nutrition and a healthy lifestyle and thereby acts as an important role model. During the following school visit you can ask specific questions. Of course, you can also ask for photos and autographs. After the school visit, each class will be invited to an EVZ home game in the BOSSARD Arena. A great experience for players, schoolchildren and teachers!

Goals of the project:

  • Each season around 100 classes and 2000 schoolchildren benefit from an exclusive visit from an EVZ professional.
  • The EVZ is close to the people in the region: school classes from the cantons of Zug, Lucerne, Schwyz, Nidwalden, Obwalden, Zurich and St. Gallen take part in the project.
  • EVZ players take an active part as role models in the fields of health, sport and prevention.
