Upon taking up this new post, Reto Suri will no longer fulfil the role announced in June of assisting the new EVZ General Manager, Ted Suihkonen, and will instead focus entirely on his coaching duties in future. On the one hand, he will continue as head coach of the EVZ U21 Elite team, as before; on the other hand, he will take on the role of assistant coach for the Swiss U20 national team.
The relevant responsibilities will be reorganised within the EVZ sports organisation. Roland Schmid, Head of The Hockey Academy / Competitive Sport, will take on these additional tasks, as before, alongside Ted Suihkonen.
