The mission to defend the title gets underway in Neuchâtel

The fixture list for the 2026/27 PostFinance Women’s League has been published.

It all kicks off again on Saturday 12 September! To kick off the PostFinance Women’s League, the EVZ Women’s Team will face the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy away at the Patinoire du Littoral. This will be followed by six further away matches – as the OYM hall is unavailable until the end of October due to extension works.

Fans of the EVZ Women’s Team should mark the weekend of 24 and 25 October firmly in their diaries. That’s when the team will play their first two home games! On Saturday at 5.30 pm, the Zug women will first host the newly promoted Lausanne HC. This will be followed on Sunday afternoon at 2.30 pm by their second home match against Neuchâtel.

After that, the PostFinance Women’s League will be on hiatus for a whole month. This is because the World Cup is taking place in Denmark from 6 to 16 November.

The league will resume in Zug, once again in front of a home crowd. On Saturday 21 November, the Women’s Team will take on HC Davos, followed a day later by a rematch of last year’s play-off final against SC Bern.

There will be no changes to the format of the PostFinance Women’s League. As in the previous season, the eight teams in the PostFinance Women’s League will play a total of 28 matches in the regular season during the 2026/2027 campaign. The top two teams from the qualifying round will qualify directly for the play-off semi-finals. The teams ranked third to sixth will contest the play-ins. The semi-finals will begin on 4 March 2027 and, like the final, will be played in a best-of-five format from 18 March 2027 onwards. The two losing semi-finalists will play a single match for the bronze medal.

Information on season ticket sales for the Women’s Team’s matches: Potential new customers can take advantage of an early-bird discount from 15 July to 31 August (CHF 112 instead of CHF 140). All PostFinance Women’s League matches will once again be broadcast live and free of charge on RED+ this season.
