The Swiss U20 national team is travelling to Finland this Tuesday and will take part in a five-nation tournament from Thursday to Sunday. Switzerland’s schedule is a demanding one, with four matches in four days. Switzerland’s fixtures are as follows:
Thursday, 3.00 pm: Switzerland v
Friday, 3.00 pm: Switzerland v Sweden
Saturday, 5.30 pm: Switzerland v Czech Republic
Sunday, 2.00 pm: Switzerland v Finland
Good news for EVZ: with goalkeeper Matia Birchler (currently on loan at Visp) and the three U21 Elite players Dorian Moret, Jan Daron and Lucien Lehmann, four Zug players have been called up to the 25-man squad. Gian Körner and Daniele Wagner are also on standby. A great success for the EVZ’s youth development programme.
