Mischa Geisser is a product of the EVZ youth academy. He has played for the EVZ youth teams since the U15s and completed the training programme at The Hockey Academy. The 20-year-old defender has already made 46 appearances for Zug in the National League.
However, Mischa Geisser will now begin the 2026/27 season in the Sky Swiss League with HC Thurgau. “Mischa needs a lot of ice time at the moment, which we cannot guarantee him in our National League squad as things stand. At Thurgau, however, he now has the chance to continue his development in the best possible way during the 2026/27 season,” said EVZ GM Ted Suihkonen.
Mischa Geisser already played 16 matches for the Eastern Swiss side last winter and knows the club inside out. Geisser is joining HC Thurgau with immediate effect – EVZ can recall him at any time.
