The EVZ Academy starts into its third season and qualified for the playoffs in the last championship. The majority of the management is fixed, individual positions are still being filled.

In Jason O'Leary, who succeeds Stefan Hedlund from Sweden, the EVZ has found a coach who enjoys working with young players and fits in well with the training structure. Assistant Coach is Janick Steinmann, as he was last year. Further O'Leary are the professional coaches Josh Holden (Assistant Coach NL/Development Coach), Paul DiPietro (Special Coach), Cyndy Kenyon/Gianni Ehrensperger (Skating Coach) and Simon Pfister (Goalie Coach).

The Swiss League team EVZ Academy also has a lot of potential from its own junior staff this season. With Luca Hollenstein, Gianluca Zaetta, Dario Wüthrich, Sven Leuenberger, Andreas Döpfner, Thomas Lust, Livio Stadler, Yanick Stampfli, Cyril Oehen, Dominik Volejnicek, Fabian Haberstich and Livio Langenegger, twelve athletes of the "The Hockey Academy" training concept are also represented in the team and in the extended squad.

Sports director Reto Kläy comments on the squad: "This season, too, we have a lot of power and potential in the team. Together with Jason O'Leary and Dan Tangnes, we now want to take the next step and integrate young players into both the Swiss League and National League teams. I wonder how the young troupe will prevail."
