Over 350 skaters completed as many laps as possible on the ice at the EVZ Skateathon, raising money for the junior team.
18 skating groups with over 350 skaters took to the circuit in the Academy Arena on November 6 to run as many laps as possible in 10 minutes to raise as much money as possible for the junior fund: All players, from the youngest to the professionals, employees of the office, board of directors, fan clubs, sponsors, parents, friends and relatives. A total of around 13,000 laps were completed, 49 laps being the record this year.
The skateathon is part of the traditional EVZ Family Day, which has long since become a social event. In the Young Bulls Hockey School in the BOSSARD Arena, around 50 kids showed what they have already got, young and old stood patiently in the long queue for the autograph session, others enjoyed the children's program (roller rink, bouncy castle, goal wall, Mr. Money, children's face painting, balloons) or the puck-throwing competition. The EVZ gastronomy with various offers and the EVZ youth with a bar and a cake stand took care of the physical well-being.
