WE PRESENT THE NEW EVZ TICKETS APP!

In the context of digitalization, the EVZ has gone one step further for the 2022/23 season and has launched the new EVZ Tickets App. As of the 2023 season, single game tickets and season tickets will only be available digitally on the EVZ Tickets App. A specific apply for a digital season ticket (according to the explanatory video) is therefore no longer necessary.

The standalone EVZ Tickets App is exclusively used for easier management of purchased tickets (season tickets), as well as a digital ticket to the stadium. It is a secure mobile ticketing application based on blockchain technology. 

Fans, who own a season ticket and/or single game tickets can use it to send their tickets digitally securely and easily, assign them to another person or resell them on the EVZ Marketplace.

INFO FOR SEASON TICKET HOLDERS AND ABOUT THE DIGITAL SEASON TICKET

To ensure that the transfer to the digital season ticket runs as smoothly as possible, download the EVZ Tickets app. It is important that you register in the EVZ Tickets App with the same e-mail address that you use for your current EVZ Login or for purchasing tickets in the EVZ Ticketshop. This is the only way we can associate your tickets (season ticket or single game tickets) with your EVZ Tickets App account.

You will receive corresponding emails/push messages shortly before the start of the season when we have loaded your season tickets onto the app.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE EVZ TICKETS APP

In the following you will find all important steps to use the new EVZ Tickets App. The steps can also be seen in the handout (Instructions EVZ Tickets App).

1. DOWNLOAD EVZ TICKETS APP

2. REGISTER IN THE EVZ TICKETS APP

  • Register with the same e-mail address that you have for the EVZ Login so that you can manage your season tickets. If you don’t yet have an EVZ login as a season ticket holder, you must create one in advance at www.evz.ch/login.
  • Confirm the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and the Privacy Policy.
  • Allow access to your contacts and Bluetooth. This way, all app functions can be used. The access permission can be changed subsequently via the settings in the app.

3. CONFIRM MY ACCOUNT

  • After successful registration you will receive a 6-digit verification code by email. Please enter this code in the field and tap "Confirm my account".

4. COMPLETE MY PROFILE

  • Complete your profile with your data. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Please note that address changes must be made via the EVZ Login.

5. EVZ TICKETS APP IN GENERAL

  • Tickets can only be purchased via the EVZ Ticketshop (tickets.evz.ch) and not via the EVZ Tickets App. When purchasing tickets, select the shipping method "EVZ Tickets App". The EVZ Tickets App is used to manage season tickets and single game tickets and thus as a digital admission ticket.
  • If you haven’t yet purchased a ticket in the EVZ Ticketshop or don’t yet have a season ticket, the following message will appear: "There are no tickets (or season tickets) associated with your e-mail address yet...".
  • Your tickets will only be displayed automatically if you used the same e-mail address of your EVZ Login during registration (see points "Requirement" and "Point 2").

6. MANAGE THE TICKETS

  • You can always find your current tickets on the home screen or in the menu under "My Tickets".
  • If you have multiple tickets for an event, you can open one event and display all other tickets by swiping from right to left.
  • When you scroll down, all ticket information is displayed (e.g. match, date, address, sector, row, seat, additional information, ticket holder).
  • To call up the public transport authorization, scroll all the way down on a ticket (see item "Public transport entitlement").

7. PERSONALIZE THE TICKETS (OPTIONAL)

Assigning or personalizing a ticket is done via the "Assign your ticket" button or via the "3 dots" at the bottom right of the screen (optional):

  • Via the button "Assign your ticket" you can personalize your purchased ticket to yourself. Then select the button "Keep for myself". Your stored profile data will be assigned to the ticket and the ticket will be personalized to you.
  • Using the additional button "Assign to a new guest" you can personalize your ticket for your companion (e.g. your child) who will go to the stadium together with you.

IMPORTANT: Access is currently guaranteed even without personalization, except for any requirements by authorities or associations.

8. SENDING THE TICKETS

Sending a ticket is done via the button "Send ticket to a guest" or via the "3 dots" at the bottom right of the screen:

  • Select the recipient's e-mail address or type in the e-mail address. Send the respective ticket to the person of your choice (button "Send"). Before sending to a person, you can optionally select more tickets that the person should receive.
  • The recipient will receive an email and must also download the EVZ Tickets app and register in it, if not already done. Forwarded tickets are only visible and valid from then on.

9. PUT TICKETS ON THE EVZ MARKETPLACE (RESALE)

Resale of a ticket is done via the button "Resale on Ticketshop" or via the "3 dots" at the bottom right of the screen:

  • To be able to offer your tickets for resale on the EVZ Marketplace, select the button "Resale on Ticketshop" and confirm the message with "Yes". Log in once at the login screen with your EVZ Login (select the option "Stay logged in"). The selected game for resale will open in the app. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm the resale with the button "Put on sale".
  • After release, your ticket will not be made available in the app but made available on the online platform EVZ Marketplace.

10. TAKING BACK TICKETS FROM THE EVZ MARKETPLACE (RESALE)

As long as the resale has not been successful, you can take back the ticket at any time for your own use:

  • In the "Tickets for Resale" menu item, you can call up the corresponding ticket and cancel the resale by clicking the "Cancel resale" button.
  • Alternatively, log in to the EVZ Ticketshop in your user profile and go to the menu item "My tickets" and pull back the corresponding resale.
  • The ticket will then be automatically activated again for management in the app within a short time.

TICKET USAGE (QR CODE)

The QR code is required for access and is activated automatically by the system 24 hours before the event. The ticket holder doesn’t have to do anything. It is a valid ticket, even if the QR code is not yet activated.

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT ENTITLEMENT

You can access your public transport entitlement by scrolling down the ticket.

IMPORTANT: NOT valid for Champions Hockey League and friendly matches.

WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE EVZ TICKETS APP?

You can download the EVZ Ticket App directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

 

WHY DO I NEED THE EVZ TICKET APP?

The app is used for online management of your season tickets and single game tickets. With an encrypted blockchain technology, the secure and easy handling and sharing of the ticket is guaranteed in a few steps.

 

WHY ISN'T THE EVZ TICKET APP INTEGRATED INTO THE EXISTING CLUB APP?

An integration into our EVZ app is not planned. We have decided to work with a separate app that functions as a wallet.

 

ARE PRINT@HOME TICKETS / MOBILE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE?

No, there is only the digital ticket in the EVZ Ticket App. All other ticket types (Print@home, Mobile, Passbook) will be discontinued.

The following advantages result from this:

  • Tickets are delivered to the EVZ Tickets app automatically, manual downloading of individual tickets is no longer necessary.
  • Convenience: Tickets can be forwarded or resold easily and securely.
  • Security: Printing and forwarding multiple copies of a Print@home ticket is no longer possible.
  • Sustainability: Paper and plastic are reduced to a minimum.

HOW DO I LOG IN TO THE EVZ TICKETS APP?

To register in the EVZ Tickets App, it is necessary that you register in the app first.

It is important that you register in the EVZ Tickets App with the same e-mail address that you use for your current EVZ Login or for purchasing tickets in the EVZ Ticketshop. This is the only way we can associate your tickets (season ticket or single game tickets) to your EVZ Tickets App account.

WHERE CAN I CREATE MY EVZ LOGIN?

If you do not yet have an EVZ Login, you can create one at www.evz.ch/login.

 

HOW CAN I SEND TICKETS TO PEOPLE I KNOW?

Sending a ticket is done via the button "Send ticket to a guest" or via the "3 dots" at the bottom right of the screen:

  • Select the recipient's e-mail address or type in the e-mail address. Send the respective ticket to the person of your choice (button "Send"). Before sending to a person, you can optionally select more tickets that the person should receive.
  • The recipient will receive an email and must also download the EVZ Tickets app and register in it, if not already done. Forwarded tickets are only visible and valid from then on.

I SENT THE TICKET TO A WRONG E-MAIL ADDRESS: WHAT CAN I DO?

You can still cancel the sending of your ticket. To do so, go to the main menu and select "Ticket Transfer". Under "Pending" you can cancel the ticket transfer.

Please note that a transfer cancellation is only possible if the ticket has not yet been accepted by the recipient!

CAN I PERSONALIZE MULTIPLE TICKETS IN MY APP?

You can also leave all tickets in your app and personalize them to the individual. Entering the email address during personalization is not necessary, but optional, should it be personalized for a child without an email address, for example.

The personalization of tickets is optional, subject to any requirements by authority or association!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T SEE THE QR CODE?

The QR code is required for access and is activated automatically by the system 24 hours before the event. The ticket holder doesn’t have to do anything. It is a valid ticket, even if the QR code is not yet activated.

 

HOW CAN I PASS ON A TICKET FROM MY SEASON TICKET IF THE RECIPIENT DOES NOT HAVE A COMPATIBLE SMARTPHONE OR CANNOT INSTALL THE EVZ TICKETS APP ON THE SMARTPHONE?

In these cases, the corresponding ticket can be ordered for a fee of CHF 5.00 and up to 48h before the start of the match by e-mail to ticketing@evz.ch. A digital ticket will then be converted into a paper ticket and deposited at the box office. The fee must be paid at the box office (cash or card).

 

WHAT CAN I DO IF I DON’T HAVE A (COMPATIBLE) SMARTPHONE AS A SEASON TICKET HOLDER?

Register by phone or in writing by email to ticketing@evz.ch at the office for a personal appointment during opening hours (MO-FR 9am-11:30pm). We will be happy to assist you. If the physical season pass is the only solution for you, we will issue it free of charge for the 2023/24 season. Starting with the 2024/25 season, there will be a charge for the physical season pass.

 

WHAT CAN I DO IF MY CHILDREN ALSO HAVE A SEASON TICKET BUT DO NOT HAVE A SMARTPHONE YET?

If you are in possession of several season tickets for which no e-mail address is stored (e.g. for children/young people), you as the parent will be sent all digital tickets. Alternatively, from the beginning of June 2023, you can order a physical season ticket free of charge for your children (season ticket "youth"), stating the first & last name at ticketing@evz.ch.

 

CAN I SWITCH BACK TO THE EVZ TICKETS APP AFTER SWITCHING TO THE PHYSICAL SEASON TICKET?

Yes, this is possible in principle. To do so, contact us by email at ticketing@evz.ch. This switch is free of charge and the physical card can be disposed of. It is not possible to switch back to the physical season ticket.
