From 27 May to 1 July, a total of six evenings will take place as part of the Fit4Zug event series. Would you like to join in? Then you still have two opportunities: on 24 June, we ’ll be playing floorball at Arenaplatz or in the Academy Arena (in the event of bad weather), and on 1 July, there’ll be a badminton session in the Academy Arena. Players from EVZ will also be taking part each time. Who exactly? You’ll find out around 24 hours beforehand on EVZ’s social media channels. An overview of the events so far is now available in this article. Have fun!
The Fit4Zug series of events is in full swing. The EVZ is once again running this popular health project this year, through which it is committed to promoting sport amongst the people of Zug.
Off-ice training, 17 June
On 17 June, the EVZ professionals took charge themselves. Luisa Waser, Annika Fazokas, Sven Senteler and Elia Riva led an off-ice training session in sweltering temperatures. State Councillor Andreas Hausheer and City Councillor Urs Raschle were also right in the thick of it. Sport meets politics and the public – an extremely successful evening!
Pickleball, 10 June
A new sport as part of Fit4Zug! On Wednesday 10 June, Mara Frey, Nina Harju, Loris Wey and Nic Balestra gave pickleball a go. The evening was organised by Taurus Zug and Pickleball-Corner.
Football, 3 June
Just before the start of the World Cup, football took centre stage at the EVZ for once. Together with the local football club, Zug 94, we ran a session with the ball. Right in the thick of it: Lara Stalder, Leonie Kutzer and Tobias Geisser.
HIIT training, 27 May
On 27 May, Fit4Zug kicked off with a HIIT session led by the Hochwacht Zug Women’s Sports Club. The EVZ players Lia Egger, Annic Büchi, Nik Petrovic and Livio Stalder also had a great time – and were naturally in high demand at the autograph session.
