Jacob Moverare arrives at Zugersee with 111 NHL appearances under his belt. The Swede was drafted by the LA Kings in the fourth round in 2016. In 2019, he won the Swedish championship with Frölunda and made his NHL debut in 2022. Over the past two years, the 27-year-old Moverare has played over 60 matches for the Kings’ NHL organisation and is now continuing his career at EVZ. The 191 cm tall, 95 kg defenceman has signed a contract with Zug running until spring 2028.
Jacob Moverare, who arrived in Switzerland on Tuesday, said: «I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the EVZ fans in future and giving my all for this team. Over the next few days, I’d like to get to know the club and, in particular, my new team-mates, and settle in quickly in Zug.»
