EVZ is in the Cup final!

The Zug team won 7:0 against the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy without any discussion.

The score was 2-0 after just 61 seconds in the first semi-final game of the day. The vast majority of the 609 spectators at the Lucerne Ice Center were delighted – the EVZ fans also created a great atmosphere away from home and gave the EVZ a real home game. A big thank you to everyone who supported the women’s team today!

«WE WANTED TO BE READY FROM THE START»

Following the victory, double goal scorer Nina Harju revealed that the team had set itself the goal of being fully ready from the start in every period. They succeeded impressively today: Even in the middle period, the EVZ goal song rang through the stadium after just 94 seconds after Ivana Wey made it 3-0.

The fans had to be patient afterwards, however, as the next goal was not scored until the 3rd period – after 32 seconds! With a further three goals in the space of just over five minutes, the Zug team left no doubt that they had a commanding lead going into the cup final.
