Right up to the last second

The EVZ Women’s Team will face HC Davos Ladies in the playoff semi-final.

The Grisons team, who were in 3rd place after the regular season, nine points behind the EVZ, were able to beat HC Fribourg-Gottéron Ladies 2-0 in the play-in games. After an undisputed 8:1 home win on Thursday, they also clearly won the away game in Fribourg 5:2 in their favor.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Head coach Daniela Diaz’s team won three of the four direct duels with Davos, one of them in a shootout. In general, all games between the EVZ and the HCD ended with a difference of just one goal. The two teams also met in the Cup semi-final – a game that Zug won 7:3.

TOP SCORER

The top scorer for HC Davos Ladies is Elizabeth Lang. The Canadian scored 28 goals and set up 25 of them in the regular season. That puts her one point ahead of EVZ top scorer Rahel Enzler. Lang was again responsible for three goals and two assists in the play-in games.
