TUGIUM is the Latin name for Zug – the place we call home and the place we love. Our restaurant reflects that spirit: down-to-earth, welcoming and genuinely local. Enjoy Swiss classics in a cosy atmosphere, with soup and salad served at the table, followed by your pre-ordered main course.

On EVZ home game days, TUGIUM is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal before puck drop. While the 67 Sportsbar offers a spontaneous walk-in experience, TUGIUM is all about a reserved table, a prepared menu and a relaxed start to the evening.

When booking your table, you select your preferred menu and pay in advance. This allows us to prepare everything for your arrival, serve your meal on time and avoid waiting for the bill afterwards. Especially before a home game, when many guests arrive within a short period of time, this makes the experience smoother and ensures you can enjoy your dinner without rushing to make puck drop.

Pre-ordering also allows us to plan and prepare more efficiently. As TUGIUM operates specifically on matchdays rather than as a daily restaurant, this helps us reduce food waste and contribute to the EVZ’s sustainability goals.

Why do I need to choose my meal in advance?

Pre-ordering allows us to ensure that your preferred dish is available and can be prepared in advance for your visit.

I would prefer to decide what to eat on the day.

We understand. If you prefer a more spontaneous game-day experience, the 67 Sportsbar is the better option. At TUGIUM, our focus is on providing a well-prepared and seamless dining experience.

Isn't pre-ordering more complicated than simply ordering at the restaurant?

We understand that it may seem like an extra step. However, by taking care of everything before your visit, your experience at the restaurant becomes much easier. Your table, order and payment are already arranged, allowing you to relax and enjoy your game night.

What happens if I change my mind at short notice?

Please contact us by email at gastro@evz.ch or by phone. Our concept is based on pre-ordering to ensure availability, quality and efficient service. Of course, we will also do our best to accommodate any last-minute requests on site, depending on availability, to make sure you have a great evening.

Is reducing food waste the only reason for this concept?

Reducing food waste is an important positive effect, but it is not the only reason. Unlike the 67 Sportsbar, our other dining venues are not open for regular daily service. This means that prepared meals that are not served can only be reused to a very limited extent. Pre-ordering also helps us plan food preparation more efficiently, provide faster service, maintain high quality standards and ensure that our guests make it to the game on time.

Why don't you simply do things the way you used to?

With our new concept, we want to make the game-day experience more predictable and relaxed. Particularly before the game, many guests arrive within a short period of time. Reservations and pre-ordering help us manage these peak times more effectively while maintaining high standards of service and quality.
