I would like to welcome you to this year's EVZ junior tournaments in Zug. We are particularly pleased to be able to offer you attractive tournaments at various levels again this year.

This year, we are delighted to be able to offer you an international tournament at the highest junior level of the U20 elite alongside the tournaments at the junior and amateur levels. A top-class field of participants with teams from Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, Austria and of course Switzerland promises pure spectacle.

The junior tournaments are a very important part of the development of the players and teams. The tournaments give us a good overview of the current level of training of the teams and each individual player at an early stage of the season. We still have almost the entire season ahead of us and such an assessment is important in order to be able to define and implement appropriate measures at an early stage.

At EVZ Nachwuchs, the focus is always on training. It is our declared aim to offer every player the best possible training and development at all times. With the Academy, we have an excellent training model at our disposal that is perfectly tailored to the needs of the players in order to bring them up to the top of the game as quickly as possible. With a total of 9 professional coaches at junior level only, the EVZ is optimally positioned and well equipped for all tasks. This is a symbol of the great importance that young talent and training have in our organization. Furthermore, with the "OYM" (On Your Marks) in Cham, we have a competence center for top-class athletics and research at our disposal, through which we can raise the development of all players to another level. It goes without saying that EVZ's young talent will also benefit greatly from all this development.

I am convinced that we will see great ice hockey from all the players again this year and that you will be able to enjoy the tournaments to the full. I wish you all attractive ice hockey games and on behalf of all the players I would like to thank you very much for your support.
