Our new Match restaurant, ‘TUGIUM’

Keep Building heads towards its next milestone: Over the weekend of 23–25 October, the EVZ Men’s and Women’s teams will play their first three home matches. The new South Wing will also be opened on these dates. Over the next few days, we’ll be introducing you to the key new features. Today: The new restaurant ‘TUGIUM’

Truly Zug-style. The name TUGIUM (Latin) stands for Zug, the place where we live and which we love. Our restaurant is just as straightforward: home-style cooking, Swiss classics and a cosy atmosphere. Soup and salad are served first, followed by your pre-ordered main course.

On EVZ home match days, TUGIUM is the place for anyone who likes to start their match night in a relaxed way and would like to enjoy a quiet meal before the first face-off. Unlike the spontaneous, walk-in atmosphere of the 67 Sportsbar, a visit to TUGIUM is booked and prepared in advance.

The aim is for guests to feel right at home – here in Zug, that is. To this end, the artist and former EVZ player René Schädler has created the perfect setting. His paintings of and about the Zug region adorn the walls and help to create the right atmosphere.

Are you coming to TUGIUM? When you book a table, you can select your preferred menu and pay for it straight away. This allows us to prepare for your visit as effectively as possible, serve your meal promptly, and means you won’t have to wait for the bill after your meal. Especially before a home match, when lots of guests arrive within a short space of time, this system ensures that your visit to the restaurant remains a relaxed experience and that you’re in your seat in time for the puck drop.
