Women’s National Team squad

The highlight of the Swiss women’s national team’s 2026/27 season will take place in November. That is when the 27th IIHF World Championship will be held in Denmark.

The national team will meet for an initial training camp as early as July. The squad includes no fewer than seven players from the current EVZ Women’s Team. Alongside the four Olympic bronze medallists Lara Stalder, Annic Büchi, Rahel Enzler and Alina Marti, Nina Harju, Jael Manetsch and Luisa Waser have also been selected for the training camp. Ivana Wey, who will be trying her hand at the NCAA from August, is another player with links to EVZ who has been called up.

Squad list: Prospect

On 5 July, the most promising young players will join the Women’s National Team and will also be training at the OYM until 8 July 2026. There will also be a friendly match between the senior national team and the prospects.

The Prospects squad also includes five players from Zug. They are the two goalkeepers Chiara Pfosi and Yara Keller, defender Mara Frey, and forwards Lia Egger and Chiara Eggli. This is a first for Eggli. We offer our warmest congratulations!
