Justin Abdelkader returned to Zug a month ago and has since played six National League games and two games in the Champions Hockey League. In the national championship so far he gave one assist, in the CHL he scored the important goal in the quarterfinal against Mountfield HK lying next to the goal to make it 1:0.
“It’s because of goals like that that Justin is such a valuable addition to any team,” General Manager says of the 187cm tall, 97kg forward. “He goes where it hurts and brings a lot of experience in addition to his water displacement. I’m pleased that we can now count on Justin’s services until the end of the season.”
