In the game against Lausanne HC on Wednesday, January 17th, Tobias Geisser injured his upper extremities and will miss several weeks for the EVZ. The defenseman has collected 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists) in 35 games so far this season, blocked 36 shots and was on the ice for an average of around 19 minutes.
New signing Riley Sheen also suffered an upper-body injury two days later in the home game against HC Ajoie after a collision with a teammate. The Canadian will also be out for several weeks.
Leonardo Genoni, on the other hand, is well on his way back from an injury. The goalie missed six games in January, but has since been able to resume team training.
