After the first week of preparation for the World Championship in Prague and Ostrava, three EVZ players will join head coach Patrick Fischer’s team for the second week in Basel: goalkeeper Leonardo Genoni, defenseman Tobias Geisser and forward Sven Senteler. Fabrice Herzog and Dario Simion will also join the team from the third week.
In addition to numerous other on- and off-ice training sessions, two more preparation games will be played on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 7:45 p.m. and Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. The opponents in the St. Jakob-Arena ice rink will be France. There will also be an autograph session on Wednesday evening, April 17, 2024, from 18:00 to 19:00 at the St. Jakob-Arena ice rink.
