Just like last year, the EVZ teams will travel together to the training camp in Zell am See-Kaprun (AUT) at the beginning of August. There, the women’s team will face the Graz Huskies on Friday, August 9 at 3:30 pm, while the men will play their first test game against the reigning ICE Hockey League champions, Red Bull Salzburg, on the evening of the same day at 7:15 pm. For fans who would like to support the teams on site, the EVZ will be offering a package with accommodation and additional offers in cooperation with the Zell am See-Kaprun vacation region. The Lehner Cup is also a fixed part of the preparation program: On Friday, August 23, the EVZ will play against the Czech representative HC Ceske Budejovice in Sursee and on Sunday, August 25, against Red Bull Munich. The women will provide ice hockey action in the BOSSARD Arena on the same weekend: they welcome HC Ambri-Piotta Girls on Saturday.
