Vote now – Leonardo Genoni nominated for special award

The Alliance of European Hockey Clubs (E.H.C.) has announced the nominees for the Fenix Outdoor & Warrior European Hockey Awards 2022. One of the nominees is an EVZ player: Leonardo Genoni has been nominated for the Warrior Award for Outstanding Achievement. The Warrior Career Excellence Award is presented annually to the player who has best embodied the qualities of sportsmanship and dedication combined with community service and a high level of play during his career.

EVZ is proud of the nomination of its goalie. The Zug fans can still vote for Leonardo Genoni until 15 May. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Prague on 9 June.

Alliance of European Hockey Clubs

The alliance was formally founded on 13 June 2016 at the E.H.C.’s first Annual General Meeting in Berlin by around 70 clubs from 13 European countries. This makes ice hockey the third major European team sport, after the European Club Association (ECA) in football and the Forum Club Handball (FCH), to establish a club alliance to represent and promote the interests of professional ice hockey clubs and represent them internationally.
