Tobias Geisser, Gregory Hofmann, Sven Senteler, Vinzenz Rohrer and Nik Petrovic will be away with their senior national teams next week.
Next week is the national team week!
So far, five EVZ players have been called up for their respective national teams. Defender Tobias Geisser, along with forwards Gregory Hofmann and Sven Senteler, will be representing the Swiss national team at the NOCCO Hockey Games in Finland. Geisser, Hofmann and Senteler will face Finland, Sweden and the Czech Republic between 5 and 8 November. All three matches will be played at the Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki.
In addition to the three Swiss players, Vinzenz Rohrer and Nik Petrovic have also been called up for their national teams. EVZ’s top scorer, Rohrer, will be playing for Austria in the Germany Cup in Düsseldorf, where they will face Germany, Slovakia and Latvia.
Meanwhile, Nik Petrovic’s strong start to the EVZ season has not gone unnoticed in his home country of Slovenia. Petrovic has been named in the Slovenian squad for next week. Slovenia will compete in a four-nation tournament in France, where they will face the hosts, Hungary and Norway.
