Following the appointment of Ted Suihkonen, previously Head of Development and U18 Elite Coach, as General Manager, a vacancy had arisen for the position of U18 coach. The EVZ has now filled this vacancy.
Alain Heim, previously the U18 Elite assistant coach, takes over as head coach of the U18 Elite team with immediate effect. He will be assisted by Michael Kress. Kress, who can look back on a long career as a professional player in the National League, is joining EVZ for the first time. Alongside his role at EVZ, he will continue in his position as head coach of partner club Küssnachter SC in the 1st League.

Together with Alain Heim, we have a strong coaching duo. This means we are ideally positioned in terms of coaching for competitive sport for the coming season.”
Ted Suihkonen will continue in his role as Head of Development and remain in charge of competitive sport on the ice. This will bring competitive sport and the Hockey Academy even closer to our first team.
