The EVZ auctioned off the original jerseys that the players wore on the away games up to the playoff final, giving fans the chance to remember the championship and promotion season in a very special way. Each jersey is autographed by the respective player.
The jersey with the number 26, which Naemi Herzig wore during the EVZ Women’s Team’s inaugural season, attracted the highest bid. The proud new owner bought Herzig’s away jersey for 805. The 17-year-old is currently playing for Switzerland at the World Championships in Utica (USA). The away jersey of captain Lara Stalder was not auctioned off and remains in the EVZ archives. The proceeds of the entire auction will go entirely to the Women & Girls Program of the EVZ.
