MEET & GREET WITH PLAYERS
A special highlight was the exclusive visit to the EVZ Women’s Team dressing room before the game. Remo Krummenacher, principal of Zug City Schools, and city councillor Etienne Schumpf had the opportunity to meet the team in person together with some of the pupils. “It’s impressive to see how much commitment and passion this team puts into the ice. We wish the team every success in the upcoming play-offs,” emphasized Councillor Schumpf. As a sign of their support, they presented the team with a ginger shot set – a symbol of health and energy in the crucial phase of the season.
This campaign goes beyond pure sport: the Zug city schools not only want to inspire children and young people to take part in sporting activities, but also promote values such as fairness, diversity and team spirit. “Sport unites and inspires. We want to help ensure that all children and young people can find their role models – regardless of whether they are men or women,” emphasized Headmaster Krummenacher.
In addition to the Zug schoolchildren, EVZ also invited students to the game free of charge as part of Student Night.
