The EVZ won the first semifinal game of the playoff series against HC Davos with a 2-0 victory. In an intense and evenly matched game, the Zug players showcased a strong defensive performance and played with control. Especially in the second period, EVZ took more initiative and capitalized on their chances, ultimately securing a well-deserved lead. Goaltender Eveliina Mäkinen delivered a confident performance, keeping a clean sheet and providing crucial support to her team.
For the second semifinal game, the EVZ Women’s team will travel to Landwassertal on Sunday, March 9, at 7:30 PM.
After a successful start, EVZ will continue their playoff campaign on Sunday. The second game of the series will take place at 7:30 PM in Davos. Zug now has the opportunity to secure a match point for the final.
