A record! Over 1,000 season tickets sold for the Women’s Team

On 24 and 25 October, the time has finally come: after eight away matches, the EVZ Women’s Team will play its first home matches of the season at the OYM hall. There’s huge excitement in Zug, and this is reflected in the figures: by early October, 1,087 season tickets had already been sold. That’s more than ever before!

This record is far more than just a figure. It represents the enthusiasm the Women’s Team has sparked in recent years, and the growing support from an entire region.

Last season impressively demonstrated the potential of women’s ice hockey in Zug: an average of 1,313 spectators attended the EVZ’s home matches. For the two home matches in the play-off final, as many as 7,864 fans flocked to the OYM hall, creating an atmosphere that will be remembered for a long time to come. In the end, this special season was crowned with the Swiss championship title.

The momentum surrounding the EVZ Women’s Team continues this season. Over 1,000 season ticket holders are already sending a strong message of support for women’s hockey in Zug. For that, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you!
