A real stroke of bad luck for Lara Stalder.
The captain of the EVZ Women’s Team picked up an injury in the second period of Saturday’s match against Lausanne and was unable to return to the ice. The diagnosis is now in: Stalder will be out for 6–8 weeks with a knee injury.
This means the 32-year-old forward will also have to withdraw from the Women’s World Championship in Denmark, which begins on 6 November. EVZ wishes Lara Stalder a speedy and full recovery and looks forward to her return soon.
