Medical Update: Women’s Team

The Medical Report for Friday, 9 October.

Noemi Ryhner, week by week. Ryhner fractured her fibula in the Cup final at the end of January. Following complications and an infection resulting from the operation, the 26-year-old is continuing to work towards her comeback.

Joy Roulet, week-to-week. The NXT athlete suffered a concussion during pre-season training. Her condition is being reassessed on a week-by-week basis.

Annic Büchi, week-to-week. The defender injured her knee in the summer. Decisions regarding Büchi’s return to the line-up are being made on a week-to-week basis.

Chiara Eggli, 4 to 6 months. Eggli sustained a shoulder injury on 13 September in the match against Davos. The forward underwent surgery on 28 September and will be out for 4 to 6 months.

Sini Karjalainen, 9 to 12 months. The Finnish reserve player suffered a serious knee injury in her third match for EVZ. Following cruciate ligament surgery, she will be out for 9 to 12 months.

Alina Marti, Annika Fazokas and Luisa Waser are expected to return to the line-up on Sunday 11 October against Fribourg.
