Kolin is athletic, helpful, always in a good mood – and above all, a huge fan of EVZ. His name comes from a charming anecdote: his farmer kept finding him at Kolinplatz, where he drank from the Kolin fountain – having run away and become thirsty. But once, the bull was not deterred by the tasty water from the fountain and galloped on to the bull market, where he was attracted by the sounds from the nearby stadium. It was immediately clear: ice hockey is his world, and the Zug Ice Sports Club is his team!
At the annual summer event “EIS Fäscht,” EVZ presented its new family member: mascot Kolin. The cuddly bull is already a favorite among the kids!

The EVZ players also quickly took the enthusiastic bull into their hearts. When he cheered them on loudly, they asked him if he would like to become their mascot. What a question—of course he wanted to!
Children – and adults too – can read the complete story of Kolin’s adventures in the lovingly designed children’s book created by Jacqueline and Daniel Kauer from illugraphic in Hagendorn.

You can experience Kolin up close (and cuddle him) at selected family games of the women’s and men’s teams, as well as at various EVZ events. Kolin will be there to entertain the crowd with his dance routines and will be happy to pose for selfies with young and old alike.
KIDS CLUB FOR THE YOUNGEST FANS
“The bull is a powerful symbol of the EVZ and firmly anchored in our identity. With Kolin, we are giving this symbol a face and creating an emotional connection with our youngest fans,” explains Seraina Knobel, Head of Brand & Marketing Activation. “A mascot like Kolin is the ideal way to introduce children to the EVZ in a playful way. The Women’s Team’s Family Games provide the perfect platform for this.”
Together with mascot Kolin, the EVZ also launched the new Kids Club for children aged 0 to 13. Members can look forward to exclusive events, great goodies, and many more surprises. “Kolin, who acts as president of the Kids Club, aims to open up a whole new world for children, where they can get to know the EVZ even better. Kolin aims to bring joy to everyone and put a smile on the faces of young and old alike.” For more information about the EVZ Kids Club, visit evz.ch/kidsclub.

Kolin and the Kids Club were also developed in collaboration with a regional partner: Roy Wedema from RWDesign in Arth was responsible for the concept and visual design.
Kolin merchandise is now available in the EVZ fan shop on Arenaplatz! Fun coloring pictures can also be downloaded and printed at evz.ch/kidsclub.
