EVZ finishes the regular season in 13th place after a narrow defeat to Kometa Brno. In the round of 16, Zug will face Sparta Prague, who finished the qualifiers in 4th place. The Czech team’s goalkeeper is no stranger: Jakub Kovar, the older brother of EVZ captain Jan, who already faced the Central Swiss team in the 2021/22 season as goalkeeper for the ZSC Lions.
