EVZ has won both previous encounters – at the end of September, the Zug team swept the reigning champions out of the stadium with a 7-0 victory, and in October, they secured three points with a 4-2 away win at the PostFinance Arena. Now the Bern team will be looking for revenge.
For both teams, this is their first competitive game since the end of October and beginning of November, respectively. Since then, the championship has been on hiatus due to the national team break. As a result, EVZ was missing nine players in training, with others out due to injury. On the SCB side, defender Stefanie Wetli and forwards Ilana Leibundgut and Kaleigh Quennec were called up.
On Saturday, the Bernese women will be guests at the OYM hall for the second time this season. Overall, it will be the third meeting between the two top teams.
Following the top match, the EVZ Women’s Team invites you to go ice skating at Herti Zauber!
