Will the EVZ also win in Jura?

After two wins in two home games, the EVZ closes its week with an away game at HC Ajoie on saturday.

Three wins in a row? Zug has never achieved this feat in the current National League season so far. That should change on Saturday. After two home victories during the week against SCB (4:2 on Tuesday) and Genève-Servette (3:1 on Thursday), EVZ takes on HC Ajoie away from home.

Ajoie is also at the bottom of the table this season. So far, they have only won five of their 27 games. Zug have also celebrated two outright victories in the two head-to-head duels so far: on 4 October, they won 3:1 away in the Jura, followed by an 8:3 scoring feast in the OYM hall just over three weeks later.

Despite the large number of injured players, Michael Liniger’s team would still like to take the three points home to Lake Zug from the Jura on Saturday, extend their winning streak and have a perfect week with nine points from three games. The reward would definitely be a place in the top six of the table, which would entitle them to direct play-off qualification.
