EVZ extends the contract with the center for another three years.
Sven Senteler is now playing his 8th season in the kit of Zug and will remain at Lake Zug until at least the 2025/26 season. In his first seven years with the EVZ, the 30-year-old scored 64 goals and provided 62 assists in 367 National League games. In 2021 and 2022, he celebrated two Swiss championship titles with the Zugers and played a major role in defending the title in 2022 in particular with nine scoring points and a +6 record in the playoffs. In the current season, the center stands at one assist in two games.
“Sven has always developed over the past few years and is an important pillar in our center line,” said General Manager Reto Kläy. “With his experience, he will continue to enrich our team in the coming years. We are pleased that he will be a part of the EVZ until 2026.”
