EVZ extends with Lino Martschini until 2027

The 29-year-old forward extends his contract with Zug for another four years.

Lino Martschini switched from HC Luzern to EVZ in 2002 at the age of nine. In 2010 he joined the Peterborough Petes from Canada's highest junior league (OHL) for two years, collecting 114 points in 124 games. In 2012 he returned to Switzerland and received his first professional contract with EVZ. In the meantime, the fast winger has played over 560 games for EVZ and scored 459 points. With 196 goals, he is the fourth highest scorer in the club's history.

"Lino is one of our key players and one, if not the club's big figurehead," says General Manager Reto Kläy. "With his offensive qualities, he is an absolute top performer. I am pleased that we were able to extend his contract until 2027 and that we can continue to count on him."
