On Friday evening, the team will face off against HC Davos in the BOSSARD Arena before the start of the season. The team from Graubünden has completed a tough preparation program with a total of eight games so far, five of which they have won. In mid-August, Josh Holden’s team traveled to Tampere (FIN) to face the champions Tappara Tampere and the traditional club IFK Helsinki. The Davos team won both matches – 5:2 against Helsinki and 3:1 against Tappara.
In addition to Josh Holden, Luca Hollenstein and Nico Gross will also return to Zug – for both it will be their first guest appearance at National League level in the BOSSARD Arena. In addition to the two additions from Zug, Davos also recently announced the signing of Czech forward Filip Zadina. The winger is considered one of his country’s greatest talents and most recently played for the San Jose Sharks and the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL.
You can see whether the EVZ can also win the last game of the preparation on Friday evening at 7.30 pm in the BOSSARD Arena. Admission to the game is free.
The last test before the start of the championship is coming up.
