EVZ vs Lausanne HC

On Friday (November 15, 7:45 p.m.), the EVZ will host Lausanne HC at the BOSSARD Arena.

After their inadequate performance in the 6-1 defeat against SC Bern on Wednesday, the EVZ are looking to make amends. Head coach Dan Tangnes’ team will face Lausanne HC on Friday. The Vaud team is on top ob the table after yesterdays victory against the ZSC Lions. They have made numerous changes to their squad this season – ten additions were offset by nine departures. The organization also recently announced the termination of Ronalds Kenins’ contract, which was originally set to run until 2026. The former Latvian international with a Swiss license is currently in a try-out with SC Bern.

The LHC’s strength lies in the collective. This is also reflected in the scorer list: eight players have already collected ten or more points, compared to six for EVZ. The most consistent scorer is the Finn Antti Suomela with 6 goals and 14 assists. He was the big figure in the first meeting with Zug, which Lausanne won 6:3.

For the EVZ, the major absences in defense on Wednesday – Lukas Bengtsson, Dominik Schlumpf, Elia Riva and Nic Balestra were absent – also had an impact on the team’s available forces. Niklas Hansson was on the ice for over 21 minutes. With Ludvig Johnson (13:41 minutes) and Mischa Geisser (8:58 minutes), two talents also received numerous appearances.
