Genève-Servette HC vs EVZ

The EVZ travels to Lac Léman on Saturday (25 January, 7.45 pm).

While January has been positive for the EVZ so far with 23 out of a possible 30 points, the opposite has been the case for Genève-Servette: six defeats from ten National League games and a loss in the Champions Hockey League semi-final against the ZSC Lions. The dismissal of champion and CHL champions coach Jan Cadieux at the end of last year did not have the desired effect on the Grenats. In the new year, Geneva has scored 29 goals and conceded 43 goals in all competitions so far – seven of which were scored by the EVZ in the game on 8 January at the BOSSARD Arena. The Zug team also won the first head-to-head meeting of the season 5:1.

Servette are currently 12th in the table, but are five points behind 11th-placed Ambrì with two games in hand. Following their overtime defeat against Ambrì on Friday evening, Zug had to cede second place in the table to the ZSC Lions. In Les Vernets, Dan Tangnes’ team would like to score points for the tenth game in a row and preferably take home all three points.
