The duel between the EVZ and the SCRJ Lakers also means: home strength meets away weakness. EVZ has won 16 of its 23 home games after 60 minutes and picked up a total of 49 points. Only Lausanne has managed to keep more points at home. The Lakers, on the other hand, have struggled away from home – they have lost a total of 18 times away from home and have only managed to take home five points. The result: a meagre 15 points “on the road”, the second-worst score in the league behind Ajoie.
The table also presents itself accordingly: thanks to the victory after penalties in Davos, EVZ has worked its way up to 3rd place and is one point ahead of Bern and three ahead of Davos (1 game less). The Rosenstädter are at the other end of the table. After three defeats in a row and six losses in seven games, they have slipped to 11th place. In the direct duel with EVZ, however, St. Gallen are ahead: they won their two home games 4:3 and 5:3, but suffered a 2:5 defeat away in Zug.
