In the game against HC Ajoie on Saturday, February 1, the defenseman suffered an injury to his foot. Further examinations at Zug’s cantonal hospital have revealed that Tobias Geisser, who celebrates his 26th birthday on February 13, will be out for several weeks.
Geisser is the only EVZ defenseman to have missed only one game so far and has four goals, 13 assists and 49 blocked shots in 44 games. On average, he is on the ice for 19:04 minutes per game. With +15, he has the second-best plus-minus record on the team behind Andreas Wingerli (+18).
