NHL Draft for THA graduate Ludvig Johnson

The Hockey Academy graduate Ludvig Johnson was selected by the Utah Mammoth as the 174th pick in the sixth round of the NHL Draft on Friday night.

18-year-old defenseman Ludvig Johnson gained valuable experience in 35 NL games with EVZ last season, scoring eleven points. Johnson thus joins the ranks of talented young players who have emerged from The Hockey Academy (THA). He follows in the footsteps of Leon Muggli (Washington Capitals) and Christan Kirsch (San Jose Sharks), who were drafted into the NHL in 2024. The THA, known for its excellent training, has also prepared Johnson optimally for his career and was able to count on the support of the Hockey Academy Foundation.

We congratulate Ludvig Johnson on this significant step in his career and wish him every success in America.
