EVZ wins first game at Lehner Cup

On Saturday, the second game against Red Bull Munich is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. in the OYM hall.

In the 18th minute of the game, Tomas Tatar not only equalized against Motor Ceske Budejovice, but also scored his first goal in an EVZ jersey. Zug then took the lead thanks to a power play goal by Sven Senteler in the 39th minute, and shortly after the start of the third period, Daniel Vozenilek also scored on a power play to make it 3-1. EVZ let the Czechs back into the game with 13 minutes remaining, but ultimately secured victory in the first game of the Lehner Cup.

With another win early on Saturday evening, Zug could defend their title at the traditional summer tournament. Admission to the game against Munich is free.

Families should make sure to be at the stadium by 12:30 p.m., when a big surprise will be unveiled in the fan section!
