On Friday evening at 7 p.m., Zug will face Czech representative Motor Ceske Budejovice in Sursee, before Red Bull Munich visits Zug on Saturday at 5 p.m., as it has done several times in previous years. Tickets for the game in Sursee are available here, while no tickets are required for the game in Zug.
Head coach Michael Liniger will have to do without two regular players for both games – defender Dominik Schlumpf and forward Jan Kovar are nursing injuries. While Schlumpf should be fit again for the Red Bulls Salute in Zell am See next weekend, captain Kovar will probably not be able to start the season until the end of September.
Traditionally, EVZ kicks off the pre-season by participating in the Lehner Cup – this year, the second game of the tournament will once again take place as part of the EIS Fäscht in the OYM hall, and admission is free!

WOMEN’S TEAM VS MANNHEIM
The EVZ Women’s Team will face Mad Dogs Mannheim at 2 p.m. on Saturday. For Daniela Diaz’s team, this will be the first of four test matches before the season starts on September 13.
