33-year-old Sven Senteler joined EVZ for the 2015/16 season and, ten years later, is now an established member of the Zug team. The center forward has now extended his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season, by another two years and will remain at Lake Zug until 2028.
In ten seasons with EVZ so far, Senteler has scored 91 goals and provided 103 assists in 539 National League games. In the current season, the 2024 World Championship silver medalist has scored two goals and set up one in four Champions Hockey League games. He won the Swiss championship title with EVZ in 2021 and 2022, and celebrated the cup victory with Zug in 2019.
Sven Senteler signs a two-year contract extension with EVZ until 2028. The center will start his eleventh National League season with Zug on Tuesday evening.
