EVZ signs Jesse Graham until the end of November

The EVZ is responding to the current injury situation in defense and has signed Canadian defenseman Jesse Graham until the end of November, with an option to extend until the end of the season.

With Lukas Bengtsson and Dominik Schlumpf, two regular players in Zug’s defense will be out for several weeks, while Elia Riva is awaiting further medical clarification regarding his time out until the end of the week. EVZ is now responding by signing defenseman Jesse Graham until the end of November, with an option to extend until the end of the current season. The Canadian is expected in Zug on Thursday morning and will wear the number 64 for EVZ.

Graham was currently without a contract, having played in the KHL for the last three years, where he scored 75 points (18 goals, 57 assists) in 186 games. Previously, the 31-year-old played in the DEL for the Augsburger Panthers (52 games, 3 goals, 39 assists) and for Kalpa Kuopio in the Liiga (99/7/41).

«Jesse is a strong defender who also gets involved in offensive play and can set up his teammates with assists.»
