Mischa Geisser signed his first professional contract with EVZ in the spring. The 19-year-old defenseman completed The Hockey Academy training program over the past four years.
“There are currently nine defensemen in the first team squad. They all fight for playing time in training and in games,” says General Manager Reto Kläy. “For young players like Mischa, it’s essential to get a lot of ice time. At HC Thurgau, he will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop further.”
HC Thurgau will start the Sky Swiss League championship next Tuesday, September 9, with an away game in Visp. EVZ can bring Geisser back at any time.
The EVZ is loaning defender Mischa Geisser to HC Thurgau in the Sky Swiss League with a B license.
