The 19-year-old forward already played five games for the Graubünden team last season. Petrovic will be back in Chur’s line-up on Tuesday evening against EHC Winterthur. “This is a great opportunity for Nik to gain valuable playing experience in men’s ice hockey with EHC Chur,” says EVZ General Manager Reto Kläy.
Petrovic has signed his first professional contract with EVZ for the 2026/27 season. The Slovenian, who is currently the top scorer in the U21 Elite with 18 points from 15 games, will hold a Swiss license from next summer. He has already played four games in the Champions Hockey League with the first team this season.
EVZ can bring Petrovic back to Zug at any time.
EVZ U21-Elit Junior Nik Petrovic will be loaned to EHC Chur in the Swiss League with a B license.
