EVZ plays test matches during the Olympic break

EVZ uses the national team break during the Olympic Games in February for two test games against the ZSC Lions and HC Ambrì-Piotta.

The ice hockey tournament of the Olympic Games will take place in Milan from 6 to 22 February. Also taking part from EVZ are Leonardo Genoni (SUI), Dominik Kubalik (CZE) and Tomas Tatar (SVK). The rest of the team will prepare for the decisive phase of the championship during the national team break and will play two test games against league rivals during this time.

 

On Thursday, 12 February, the Zug team will travel to Lenzerheide, where the ZSC Lions are holding a training camp. A charity game in aid of the EHC Lenzerheide junior team will be held at the Dieschen ice rink from 7.00 pm. Admission for adults is 24.-, for children 14.-. Tickets can only be purchased at the box office.

 

One week later, on Friday 20 February, the EVZ will play a test game against HC Ambrì-Piotta in Lucerne. The game at the Lucerne Ice Centre also starts at 19:00 and tickets are already available online. Both seated and standing tickets are available.
