The 2026/27 fixture list is here!

EVZ kick off their season away at Lausanne on 15 September and will play their first home game against the same opponents on 23 October.

GAME SCHEDULE

For EVZ, the start of the season is turning out to be a little different from usual. The Zug-based team will play all their pre-season matches in August and September, as well as their first eight league games, away from home. This is due to construction work at the OYM Hall.

The EVZ’s run of eight consecutive away matches begins on Tuesday, 15 September at 7.45 pm in Lausanne. This will be followed by matches in Davos, Lugano, Langnau, Rapperswil, Geneva, Kloten and Ajoie.

The first highlight will then take place on 23 October. On this Friday evening, EVZ invites fans to the 2026/27 home opener against Lausanne. Work on the OYM hall extension will be well underway by then, and the refurbished ‘67’ sports bar, the new ‘Tugium’ restaurant and the new fan shop will all be open. Details will follow over the course of the summer on the EVZ channels. We can’t wait!

Due to the extension works on the OYM hall, the traditional season-opening festival “Eis Fäscht” cannot take place this year. But we can promise you this: we’ll be back in 2027!

Season 2026/27

The format for the 2026/27 National League season remains unchanged. During the regular season, each team plays a total of 52 games, facing every other team four times. The top 6 teams qualify directly for the playoffs; the clubs ranked 7th through 10th compete in the play-ins; and the teams in 11th and 12th place face relegation. The playoff quarterfinals begin on Saturday, March 13.

The main start times during the regular season (7:45 p.m. Mon–Sat, 3:45 p.m. Sun) will change only slightly. Selected Thursday games (all without EVZ participation) will now start at 8 p.m., and there will also be “Family Games” on various Sundays, starting at 2:00 p.m.

The National League will continue to have a strong presence on free-to-air TV. Selected games will be broadcast on 3+/TV24, Léman Bleu, La Télé, TéléBielingue, and Teleticino. All National League games will also be available live on MySports as usual.
