The 18-year-old Nik Petrovic will make his first appearance for EHC Chur, which is currently suffering from a number of absences, on Thursday evening, October 24, against the Bellinzona Snakes. With 15 points (6 goals, 9 assists) in 17 games, Petrovic is the top scorer of the EVZ U20-Elit. “For Nik, it’s about gaining game practice and, above all, his first experience in men’s ice hockey,” explains General Manager Reto Kläy.
The tall forward joined the EVZ U17-Elit as a 15-year-old in 2021. He won the Swiss championship title with the Zug U20 juniors this spring.
Nik Petrovic of the EVZ U20-Elit will play for EHC Chur in the Swiss League until further notice.
